Hello, welcome to my website.
I guess it was evident, early on, that I was tuned in to the world of sound. Born in 1993 in New York City, I sang the abc's in perfect pitch long before I could put together full sentences. And I listened, for hours on end, to my father playing classical piano, while I sat beside him, transfixed in my stroller. In the years since then, I have studied piano, bass guitar, clarinet, and drums, in workshops, schools, and in camps. I have had the privilege of studying with many fine musicians, including Michael Manring, Kelly Muse, Bill Carothers, Mary Anne Driscoll, Alexis Cuadrado, Matt Pavolka, Kevin Norton, C. Brent LaCasce, and Tom Luther. Currently the House Bassist at the Waldoboro Jazz Jam, I have also played professionally with Shawn Mercer, Wayne Delano, Tom Luther, Jason Dean, Jeff Densmore, Bill Barnes and Mike Whitehead. Why do I play music when people are fighting, the environment is losing to big business, and the country's in an economic downturn? Why do I fill my time with five strings, 88 keys and two drumsticks? It's all about the Groove, and it's all about the Love. Pursuit of Happiness: Life, Liberty, and Property become the Heart, the Soul, and the Melody. Enjoy my music! Noah |
